We are all meeting at the church to pack donated school supplies to take over. It should be fun. Well, i leave in less than a week. I have to say I am kind of nervous, but I'm more excited. It's a portion of my support letter!<br /><br />My name is Samantha Ryse. I am a sixteen year old junior. It has always been on my heart to help other people in suffering. In November of 2007, I learned about an opportunity to travel to Africa with my youth group at Superstition Springs Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona. I knew then that this was finally my chance to help make the changes I wanted to see in my world.<br /><br />Our church sponsors the Chiwengo tribe in Malawi, Africa. We contacted Children of the Nations to see if there was anything more we could do to help. Currently our church makes several trips a year to help build and repair homes and buildings, provide medical care and supplies, and show love to the many kids orphaned by AIDS.
